In a vague attempt to inject some life to the forums, but mostly because I'm just in this sort of mood, I present the Pet Hates thread. A safe, controlled environment where we can vent about how everyone and everything is stupid.
Anything about the game, players or forums that make you go FFUUUUUUU, post it. Only rule, no remarks about specific individuals.
I'll get us started:
People putting "Recall" in mob notes when all incoming has recalled. YA THINK?! Obviously if someone hasn't recalled in that situation, it's because they haven't refreshed. Seeing that mob note actually engages my contrarian reflex to *not* recall, simply so the moron writing the mob notes doesn't feel they've influenced me in any way.
People asking for pranks or HLs for specific times, eg. round start or when a mob gets to attacking for 3. If you know the exact time when you'll need an alert, SET AN ALARM. Maybe I'm just too British about this, but I view it as the height of rudeness to cause pointless, unnecessary inconvenience to other people. It's less hassle for everyone else, and it's also more reliable to set an alarm. If a prank will reach you, so will the alarm on your phone. If a HL will reach you, so will an alarm on your computer. Pricks.
Deciding you need to send a mob at end of tick, and then over and over again, refreshing at the very start of the tick, until an hour later you decide to just stare at the screen for an entire tick so there's no chance of missing the end of tick. And after all that, the target's online.
