Yeah... there is port code for PHPBB2 to 3, but not for my forums - I'd hacked the database up so much it was nuts... eg PHPBB2 (official) never had categories for forums, or sub-categories - and the port code wouldn't have had a clue how to handle any of the data because of things like that.
Besides which, it's nice to have everything starting afresh anyway

You can now set "subsilver2" (the new phpBB3 version of it) as your forum style, from within your user control panel->board preferences->style section.
This looks very similar to the old forum style, so is good for those of you that really cannot get to grips with the new forum layout at all!
That'll be all the styles for now, but I'm sure that in the not too distant future I'll be adding more!

I have put the old style subSilver layout in to the new forums and set that as the new board default... but you can still use the funky new look forum styles by heading to your user control panel, and changing the style there! Expect more styles to be installed in the future!

hmm is it just me or was this originally completely different from what it is right now, i swear it had the avatars and names on the left a second ago :S i like it better how it is right now anyway.
nvm i looked up two posts above mine... seems i should read more betterer next time ;P
