(note: yes I know a little bit of work still needs doing on the forums - the old sticky threads, forum rules, mod/op/helper lists etc., all shall be done!)

Hmm even if the old thread wasnt ported over, why wasn't all the user accounts ported? Seems pretty pointless to have everyone reregister.

damnit i'd just broke into the top 50 top posters now i have to start all over
im suprised u can c+p the url's esp from the avatar, i dunno where i got mine, but in the old forums u could never steal some1 else's avatar just by using the url from the properties, but now u can

Enrico: because there will have been changes to the forums database / forum code, so if you port the old data over it might break something. Better to start fresh anyway
