Well, DaX didn't mass CG so he can hit solos with pure CG and geo mobs. He's our only shield so when we hit alliances our fakes provide the other layer. Jus sayin

You know it's a bad round at the top when Dimitar is leading, Dax is organising and Cheese is dissing you.

I had figured it was all fake. At least we finally got a BR. You guys got lucky our RPG didn't get on for that one, as he was supposed to be at that target too.

Can't believe how much land you were able to save having been almost all-out attacking.

Whilst MLP has my respect for lasting so long, I think the route setup was obscene. My issue with it is you've given all your active players CG route, and the others are just that, 'others'. Alien has been the only prevalent member that isn't Robotics route in my eyes.

There's a PB guy who has been killing it on def. And the Sorc guy has been doing a bit too. But the anti-armor people have been AWOL from the looks of it.

And in both cases it has been flak killing - Neither player have been any sort of attacking threat at all to us. My point is, why put your most active players in a role that doesn't require activity? Eh, maybe I look too far into how you planned your setup.

EDIT; After reading alot of responses, I see it was just a 'grab a route' idea. Still not a great setup - I always hear 'ftf' being thrown about, but I've had alot of fun in this alliance this round.

I find it amusing Dax is going on about poor route setup or what ever when he's played CG god knows how many times and still can't use a decent ratio. How many rounds is it going to take you to learn such an easy route Dax?

He hasnt sent an attack on his own in a week. There is always plenty of gardeners surrounding his CG.

My point exactly - You came back with another moronic point on my CG use, when I'm the only one in the alliance with them. There is a reason for that - Everyone else provides the layering, you tool. :>

a whole lot of stuff..

wow your defensive... lol

I dunno bout their route setup, but "not" FTW usually means.. there isn't one. or at least, they don't care, or something of the sort.

I wanna play CG :(

Rightly so, I had Changer mentioning the same thing at round start, only for it to be explained as it means 4 outgoing mass attack mobs are nearly impossible to stop (ie, my CG spread across 4 mobs with 3 others on each mob too), means that they are actually being used to 'correct ratios'.

We didn't really have a route setup either - We just disallowed Martin to play Puppets. :p

Did kuda not end up with like, 100m Poms by round end though? Having a puppet can be handy if that person does a decent job bribing stuff.. ^_^

he died pretty quickly after he had a lot of stuff and wasn't very useful after that iirc (other than for me pwning him at pool). which is the problem. it takes a long time to get the stuff and when you lose it you cant just bounty your way up or uber acre pwn.

true, he was more handy in Res the next round as extremists.. ^_^

he wasn't active, but he sat on his acres all round and grew, hardly lost anything.. and would always defend when we asked him to.

Was pretty epic when he got 3 folks 3x his size to recall by himself.. :p

im not saying he wasnt still handy. unfortunately our HD (sa/vamp) were total **** in contactability that round other than DaX (and he took several breaks still) and it helped to have HD who i could slap at night to send defense when nobody else was logged on. (sadly i normally had to organize rpg/pom defense and hope they pussied out or we'd be toast lt)

You should have tried being in Basic Training that round :p try micro-managing defense with a bunch of people who need personalized mails explaining EXACTLY what to do and EXACTLY when to do it.

Now Imagine doing that with 3 different larger alliances hitting you.. Lets just say, I learned more about organizing defense that round than any other round I've ever played, before and after.

No, I had 'temporary reality lapses' Brandon, we went through this - Passing out dead as a coffin nail doesn't count as a break. :>

Me; "WTF? Where was my prank? I was only online a minute ago"
Iamsmart; "We called you about 20 times"
Caranthir; "And we HL'd you at least 100 times"
Iamsmart; "And that was over 3 hours ago."
Me; "Oshit."

I don't get why MLP decided to have an alliance attack all of a sudden, considering we were attacking them all day long :\

pre-set ratios are usually a stupid concept. Just buy what's needed, when it's needed

rpg

Bingo :D

And LS, it seems like every time I lead I have to tell people exactly what to do and when. Try doing it to Khris at 6 AM when you've been up all night and he's been out drinking, ended up hitting his girlfriend by accident, is scared he's going to prison and has decided to drive his pick-up truck over a cliff.

me: Khris, just send your SAs to Freddy eta 3 this tick please
Khris: **** it. Going over a cliff. End it all in a blaze of glory.
me: Just send the SAs plz.

Good times.

One of the fondest memories of FT. I'm glad the server crash came when it did though - It sort of preserved us before we all hit total rock bottom.
