Slightly off the current lines, and for the benefit of me and maybe others, I've never been to a Bushmeet before and am really interested in attending one, even this 1. I'm just curious of what happens there. I mean actually meeting people having played with/talked with them ingame is a good factor but I'd just like to know what we do over the weekend.
Just a brief outline would be fine, thanks :)

An old eventlog of the first Bush meet;

And the most recent meet;

And some brief sketchy outlines of previous Bush-meets;

Generally a lot of it is sat around talking with eachother and socialising - about anything at all, but usually I try and hold one big "Bush discussion" session brainstorming new ideas etc. with people in person over the course of the weekend (usually on the last day). Through habit or convenience or whatever, the first night tends to involve us all meeting and greeting at the hotel, any "first timers" to Bush meets getting to know everyone, later on in the evening a visit to a cheapish restaurant for food together. People that are in to their clubs/pubs will go out Friday night, the rest will hang around talking in the hotel lobby or might go to the cinema or something. Saturday would generally be a case of going bowling, laser-quest, or any other things to do in the area together (either by train or by the various cars people have giving lifts), and Saturday eve might be go out for a bit of a nicer meal somewhere together or whatever else people are up for/fancy. Sunday would tend to be chilling out, perhaps get breakfast together, me poke people in to some Bush chats, and then people bugger off home by Sunday afternoon! There of course is no set schedules, but they are always a fun weekend, great social event, and always a good way to meet new people and make some solid friends with people outside of the game, rather than just "virtual"! I'd recommend them to anyone from any background, and we generally have people from all walks of life attending!

Payment will be required by mid to late september, so I'll need to know for sure by then.

i assume that if ima able to find my own accomedation then i need no fee. also its seeming more and more likely. any chance of a forum pm to prewarn about needing a deposit/payment

Got the internet at my new home now so I can finally reply!

I'm tempted as I haven't got anything on that weekend, but now living in Manchester it makes the drive that bit longer... and with also being a bit skint on funds, will have to see.
Better yet, I've just remembered I'm owed money from somewhere :) (Sends PM...)
