So this round I am seeing something a little different from rank 1.

There score is being kept artificially low through donations and suicide attacks, low enough the bottom 10 always have targets. This has created an odd situation where LC/DW/SC are being forced to keep there scores low or face mass inc from rank 1.

Just wondering how people fell about this?

Personally I am finding that this is leaving me often bored as before we suicided to give ourselves a couple days off, we had to stay home against HQ constantly, We cant initiate a proper war for rank 2, we cant go BH or annoy rank 1 ^^. To me this is the most boring round I have played in quite a while, With HW's artificially low score a resistance could take them, but if there was the activity/will for a resistance HW wouldn't have won in the first place.


tl:dr, Is having rank 1 lower just killing the game through bashing on rank 2/3/4, or opening up more opportunities for the player-base to mix things up.

tbh. it's not much different from any other round.

edit: with the exception of discworld. in spite of asmo, discworld is doing quite well. good job toby, elle, dimitar, and anyone else who is organizing.

shame asmo will get the portal. as he's only logged in 1 or 2 times. tobyworld ftw.

I'll tell you one thing I've noticed - I've never seen ranks 20-100 so fluid before. You can save up for a weekend, plant, and suddenly you're right up there!

Fantastic from a targetting point of view though, I've got tonnes of honourable targets for once :D Loving it.

^^ Complete, and utter nonsense.

On topic: this round appears to be much more fun than many of those preceding it. So as I've stated elsewhere, only boring people are bored ;) I haven't had targets in days, and i'm actually still having loads of fun buying silly amounts of troops :D

I'm with Max on this - the closeness in score between ranks 20 and 100 is amazing this round. It's a lot easier to find honourable targets than it has been in the previous couple of rounds, and the ranks (generally excluding the top 20) are in constant flux.

Tbh I don't think it is boring, it is interesting. Like Max said you can wait 2/3 days then plant and jump 30/40 ranks it's odd but funny!

Last Stand in round 34 only won by a margin of 370b with the the individual winning score of 58b and that was the last time this happened so it's a change. HW are playing it right by staying low to keep targets but how long will this plan stay in place?

why is rank 1 ally keeping score low and having fun for being able to have targets a bad/negative/boring thing for the round? .__. then, other allies too are doing the same thing and having more targets. isn't it rather an enjoyable round?

but yeah, planting a little makes me go up with a crappy army and i become a tasty target. XD

I think you'll find that the server crashed in round 34 when it was only 30-40 days or so into the round ;)

A DAY AFTER BIGBOSS PLANTED AND TOOK MY RANK 1 THAT *****.

....what utter horsesh*te... you're bored because you have to defend? That totally invalidates everything else in your post - ignoring the fact that that's all crap too.

Not that I wish to tempt fate, but we have plenty of players with a very small amount of troops and not one Thief has tried to rush for their land. You give the alliance no reason to grow.

On another note, if we grew and you lot got bigger, Chewy & Jason's T-Rex might stop making it to last tick on their suicide runs if you lot get more troops. THAT'S bad for the playerbase.

I can see where Flamey is coming from tbh..

It does get boring, that if you plant once basically, you get 5-6 people massing you. Where is the fun in that? Anyone would feel the same. Get to a certain point, not even big, when 6 people mass you. That isnt fun?

But i can also see where others are coming from. Its fun that they aint being SQ and wanting BR's with others. Plus the top 100 closeness is great id admit ;)

These are both valid points tbf.

I am pretty sure about 90% is INN/NLD/NLT.
