• Those wishing to contribute to the game by making suggestions (both small and large) should read the following before doing so.

    Bushtarion largely runs completely automatically, and has been designed intentionally to be as self-maintaining as possible, with mechanics and balance considered at a completed point.

    Please do not spend large amounts of time coming up with complex suggestions in the hope that they will be read and possibly implemented in the future, unless you just enjoy the discussion, theory-craft, and such.

    The most likely changes will be rules-changes, specific number-tweaks to units, techs, and similar sorts of changes, and only if a large community consensus is reached as "proof" that a change would, overall, be an improvement, and are more likely to be done in batches, occassionally, not as a regular thing.

The dev multiplier has dropped to 1 already. Haven't been around for a while so not sure how it's calculated nowadays but it shouldn't really be at 1 after 6 days.

Problem: it shouldn't be at base level already.

Solution: make it drop slower again.

Et voila, sorted.

He slowed it down, but it was a bit too late.

We have ~30-50% more players than last round.

Will be solved next round, I'm sure.

The big boost in player numbers this round was a great thing, but a bad thing when the dev multiplier was concerned! It caught me out in the change I made to making it drop quicker to make up for the fact that last round, 45 days in and it still hadn't dropped to 1 (my personal ideal is for it to drop to 1 by two weeks in to a round).

I'm going to look at some sort of simple dynamic link between the current count of none-bot ID's (since the dev multiplier doesn't apply to them devving), and the number by which it can drop per development, for the next round :)
