if so, isn't surprising that the singular vamp was unable to kill a single ranger :p

That seems like a lot of honour for 1 troop. But I'm probably missing something, since I literally never pay attention to honour stats.

Honour and Fame is ****ed beyond belief. Don't bother trying to understand it.

The honour level is because he did no damage to you, and technically, you successfully defended against a rush attack (honour/fame takes into account if no Geos are sent, mob size, ETA, stealth content, etc...)

It fired, it just didn't kill anything therefore nothing in the BR.
