Interesting over the rounds that i have played that i have seen the prices in game cash go up ridiculous amounts!!

This just court my eye on supply depot...

You can currently purchase up to £377,500,000,000 game cash for 17 Bushtarion Credits, however you need another 17 Bushtarion Credits first.

So if thats £17 for us UKers, i would LOVE to see how many american/aussies/kiwis actually can actually afford that!! The prices have gone up drastically!!

Now don't get me wrong i know the reasons:

1. Small playerbase
2. Global economic situation
3. Azzer wants to buy more cookies

But just staggering if people spend (in the UK) £17 for under 400bill in game cash!!

Crazy

PS THIS ISNT A GRIPE

I've spent £15 this round

£5 blueprints, £5 to help me start and £5 to get a little extra funds to start the tech.

Tbh, what's £20 when your working fulltime, and earning 200+ a week?

My point is how much more it costs than it used to!

And not everyone works full time like us poor students ;)

I have to agree is does seem like a bit much for a free game, with current exchange rate 17= approx $29.00 us down slightly from the past when it use to be 1:2

I'm a 'poor student'. In fact, I've just finished (though not handed in the diss) an Ma, which is the most expensive academic year of all!

Chomps are now 15p, Space Raiders 15p, 500ml Pop Bottles cost £1.

When I played Bush first, they were 10p and 70p.

It simply follows a pattern of wider changes, 'tis all. Not Azzer's fault.

The increasing price of Space Raiders is the biggest crisis the world currently has to face. Not sure what the world's governments are doing faffing around with trifles like the 'war on terror', 'climate change' etc. It saddens me greatly :(

Age 2:
1-5=£5,000,000,000 each
6-10=£20,000,000,000 each
11-20=£40,000,000,000 each
21-30=£65,000,000,000 each
31-50=£110,000,000,000 each
51+=£150,000,000,000 each
(5 got you £25b, 10 got you £125b, 17 got you £405b)

Age 3:
1-5=£5,000,000,000 each
6-10=£20,000,000,000 each
11-20=£40,000,000,000 each
21+=£65,000,000,000 each
(5 got you £25b, 10 got you £125b, 17 got you £405b)

Age 4 to present day:
1-5=£6,000,000,000 each
6-10=£18,500,000,000 each
11-15=£35,000,000,000 each
16-20=£40,000,000,000 each
21+=£60,000,000,000 each
(5 got you £30b, 10 got you £122.5b, 17 got you £377.5b)

I'd say 17 credits being worth 93% of the value of what they were six years ago is a huge boon to players, given how extortionate inflation has been over that period - plus two added benefits despite that, one being you can now make "seperate purchases" but they still build up as a single purchase, rather than the old way where if you made 10 purchases of 1 credit each, you'd only get 50b total (each purchase reset the "counter")... and two being the "basic purchase" for players (5 credits) gets you a little more for the early stages :p Players are getting a good deal!

I'd still like to simplify the purchase system somehow, eg make it so the max is always X credits (eg it's always 10 credits per week, but those 10 credits get you an increasing amount each week - spend 1 credit get 1/10th of that weeks limit)... but that would have to increase the volume of purchases to offset the loss of individual purchase income, and it's hard to gauge if a price simplification and restructuring would encourage more people to purchase than currently do (eg double the amount).

i buy when i can. and happily fork out for a blue print. The biggest problem i think may be that those that have jobs cant commit the hours necessary on bushtarion to really excell. Those that do, probably have little to no income (aka students and people enroled in the education system). but a fair amount of free time.

on top of that its hard to balance it such that those that are higher ranks are still tempted to buy the game cash, where as those at the bottom cant just suddenly leap into a pole position because they're wallets are bigger. then what if those at the top are making enough to not even think about game cash, but those at the bottom dont care enough to invest. its very tricky thing to balance. i think azzer has done well with the pricing.

then comes the final kick in the teeth. I'd happily get a blue print because that lasts all round. game cash doesnt. you could buy a load of units. and loose them that same night when u sleep. you could lose 17pounds in no time. And not get anything out of your money.

I was thinking about this and although it is a Drastic change and probably from this view doesn't look as good for Azzer's bank balance, But what i'd like to suggest is that Game Cash has its price changed to 1Bc for every 100Billion, with a limit of 1.5Trillion (15BC's)

Although these prices are much cheaper than the current price(S) of Gamecash i believe it still would bring in a fair bit of money due to more people being able to afford and therefor buy Gamecash, Any ideas?

That high rate would cross the boundary between p2p and f2p as if you literally created a new alliance right now, it would be rank 3 or 4 if it got 1 lot of game cash each this week.

You could buy your way to rank 1 if you were willing to spend the money :/

Not to mention the added bonus of making solos completely invincible if they could afford 1.5trill GC a week. Madness, of a variety well beyond SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Also, you might have lots of people being able to afford to buy GC, but it would be such a waste. May as well stop making income dependent upon land and simply have random allotments of cash given out like in havoc. Foolishness.

dont get me wrong but doesnt the game cash price make it better for foreign players with the dwindling UK currency...surely they are better off?
