I suggest that to wiki, portal or anywhere else in this game is made section where very long time people with very good merits can be nominated to be and to remain with small description of them untill the era of Bushtarion is over.

I would same time like to vouch for Timster to be merited with such status. He is the one player I know has done more than anyone else for this game. With his own free time and free will.

So knowing Azzer is not giving (and I understand why) payment for people who work on their free time for this game rounds after rounds making the effort for this game to be more friendly for everyone. This is my suggestion for us to remember such awesome and incredible persons.

I know in time such list could get a bit long, but in every sports they have such and there can be hundreds of names. I yet see showing some respect and merit for these kind of persons is fit for the community and for its future. Allowing us all to reach to be better and maybe in time get our names to this book.

I mean with this all persons that have done such hard and time consuming job for this game as Timster has done during his time in this game. Upgrading and doing manuals, making suggestions, being moderator and OP and allowing us all to have better day and future with this game.

i think is a great idea, i don't think anyone will ever read the descriptions. But i like it. As long as its not every second op,mod and helper. A very select few with a description of what they have done should be a nice way to say thank you

I like it, you could easily do something like this on the Wiki...as we are all free to contribute to it.

Blackwolf, why dont you start a page up and add Tim as the first person as an example.

The wiki side of it would be fairly simple, some sort of nomination/voting would be a bit harder to set up but could be done via the forums; with a specific thread. Would need to be moderated pretty well to keep it useful and not just a thread to enlarge each others ego...or argue why someone shouldnt get it.

If Azzer was up for the idea we could make it so there is a max of 1 nomination per week, with all nominations mailed to a moderator (where they could all be added to the staff section of the forums). Then each week a poll is put up on "Bushtarion Discussions" and people have a week to vote on whether they think this person deserved to be honoured on the wiki page. People could post explanations on why they voted what they did, but just 1 post per voter to stop arguing. Then at the end of each week the thread could be locked and archived, and (if there is one) another person put up.

Like i said would have to be worked out to make sure its genuine but i do like the idea. For people that have put real work in, i.e Rewriting a large proportion of the wiki, Developing a useful bushtarion tool (i.e Bobbin with the bobwo) etc...rather than just a place to nominate your friends.

I would very much apreciate seeing more posts to this thread, but I think it would be too much to ask for a post that is doomed.

Azzer has told me that this kind of stuff would be felt as favouring of persons, and even I have accused of him of such in the past I have not even been the worst (which I btw. doubt but must accept that).

Anyways as such he has said that he couldnt ever write alone anything like thits, I have asked weeble to assist me in creation of this kind of page as I know nothing about Wiki, yet that is what Azzer suggested.

I wish that in the name of original idea this page could be left to develope on future rounds if / when we get such page done.

But for now unfortunately I must say that this kind of system will not be done by Azzer alone. (This doesnt mean that Azzer has not given it his "blessing" only that he doesnt want to do it alone.)

I have had rather long conversation of this with Azzer and have a list of names to be added to such page. For anyone concerned I do not belong to among this people. These are players who have with their hard work taken their place in history of Bushtarion, they have asked nothing in return but have given hours after hours of their time to make this game what it is for us now.

I see it could be place where we all would someday want our names to be, but not cause we have played well, but cause we have helped and imroved this game for all.

So in case your interested to help, to make such please contact me and I will try my best to make it all happen. I still dont know anything about wiki and all help is apreciated!

I think its a better idea to have it player based anyway (by that i mean, decided by players)...ofc Azzer can voice his opinion or nominate someone (in the context of my take on this suggestion) but if we have this "hall of fame" run primarily by the players than first of all its more relevant and democratic...and also then nobody can say Azzer is favouring anyone (if that is a concern of his).

But yeah, would like to see more about this. I know very little about the wiki so wouldnt be much use on designing the wiki page but i will post some further suggestions on how to implement a run a scheme such as this either tomoro or the day after.

Thank you Pinpower I really apreciate the effort anyone can put on this, but me alone. I would hate to feel like doing something of my own purposes only. If we want to have such page it must be out of everyone rather than out of some individual alone.

I would hate to spoil the surprise of names of the persons I would add, but in case someone is willingly to help I am ready to share of what I know. I am still waiting for Weeble to contact me so I can get started with this all, so in case people have doubts I promise you all the names in list are the persons nominated by Azzer and but 1 (which was before my time, and as such cant know) I more than honour to be on such page.

So in case you want to keep it as a secret for yourself please dont try to find out. I see it to be a more fun that way for us all.

I'm all for this Idea. What a better way to remind ourselves that while we will always need new fresh blood, the old players are what got us this far and deserve that recognition
