I'm having some minor problems with my PC; it sometimes "peaks", meaning my cpu hits 100% and it freezes for some seconds. So, is there any way I can "log" what kind of process uses what amount of cpu-power at any given time, so I can check which process it is that's causing this lag?

I realize that it's probably because I'm on a relatively old laptop, but still.. I'm curious.

Re: CPU Log

You can actualy see a little bit of it on CTRL+ALT+DEL menu.
But i havent found one that logs processes. Try reducing the heat also, as a well cooled laptop will run alot smoother.
I have had a PC run slower as the heat wasnt being displaced properly, so also try that.
Like don't use on any cloth etc, hard surfaces, less reflective.
