If you're not playing for fun, why the hell are you playing?

Its a GAME. The only reason to play is to play for fun, yes winning is nice and everyone aims to win in some shape or form (beat a friend, get rank 1, get a stat, steal 30k acres etc etc) but its still a game. The whole point of it is to be fun...

Your logic is beyond ridiculous. This is a game. What is the purpose of a game? To provide enjoyment/fun to the player(s). How on earth can you compare this to a job? People have jobs to earn a living, sure some people choose a certain job because they enjoy it, but ultimately, they're doing it to make money. Wtf does this have to do with playing a game?

I'm going to sound arrogant as hell now but whatever. I've won this game individually twice. As an alliance four times. Finished top 10 as a solo twice. Been the highest ranked solo once. Achieved serial killer and most dangerous. Many other statistics, etc. Why would I be jealous of people who are playing for rank etc? I've been there and done a lot more than the majority of players in this game. To call me jealous is just naive.

Why would I need to organise alliance attacks for kills?

Serial Killer: War? Huh? alliance members have killed a total value of £1,429,181,391,547 hostile staff.

Most Dangerous: War? Huh? alliance members have done a total of £1,532,141,836,941 value damage.

We seem to be doing pretty damn well without organised attacks.

I enjoy trying out new routes seing what works n what dont work. i know im never going to be top but thats fine by me because the only round i have ever been close to the top was boring less drama.i think between ranks 300 to rank 50 is a pretty sweet area to be in and i do agree with Polo's post about people moaning about this and that.

I have never cheated or abused any game mechanics ingame. I play fair even though im very cruel and nasty when I attack the same ppl over and over again.

Yes i dont play this game for the purpose of making friends or having fun in the way you do. I enjoy myself but that something you dont how to do and I cant teach that out. Its hard to describe the feeling. I mean i guess you play this cause you think its fun but do you think why its fun and why the fun is fun ? no its too complicated for you and it probably wouldnt make any sense for you. It would just drive you crazy. So I play it for my own amusement not because something is fun. Its in my head I have fun, my fantasy. OK ???

Every online game is easier to play if you know people that are good. The fact that this is an alliance based game only makes this more clear than other games. If you don't want people to be better than you because they don't choose to play the game you have two options: a) you get involved with skilled players, b) you play offline games that don't involve other people. It's fine that you want to play all by yourself, but don't go around calling people who play in groups noobs or cheaters.
