Restarting in the current tournament

I blew all my funds (more or less) accidentally. So my account is in delete for 24 hours. and I assume i'll miss the sorting of the random IDs into alliances. When i restart my account, will i be placed in a random ally, or am i going to be stuck solo without AR?

I would if he were online, as it is i'm not going to pester him until i find out i've been screwed

Any late signups will probably be stuck solo, though I may fill in any empty slots that appear in allies (because of possible deletes) randomly with whoever the highest ranked (or just highest land) solos are at the time, but don't hold out on that.

Yeah i started late, no alliance

and to make matters worse, the promise of : Start cash of £1,000,000,000,000 and start land of 250

i got the 250 land but only £100,000,000

I made the same mistake you did....

Alliances: Alliances are now locked, and any ID's that matched the criteria of 300+ land and active within the last 36 hours have been distributed randomly in to any unfilled alliances. If you have any problems (eg end up in an alliance where the leader is obviously not playing anymore), please message me (forum PM/account mail/game mail/IRC) and I will sort something out. Startup cash for new signups has been greatly reduced now to prevent any abuse of startup cash ("boosts" etc.).
