I saw this news story today and was fascinated. I had no idea that piracy was around today exactly as it was hundreds of years ago... with pirate "mother ships" going out and launching smaller vessels, a port town that sounds like Tortuga full of captured ships, and pirates stealing cargo ships full of Russian tanks! All very film like!
Only the other day (September 19th, talk like a pirate day) I was talking with a friend about what it would be like/whether it would be possible to be a pirate in modern day times. Apaprently it is!
