ok so it has been a good 20 rounds since i last played for more than a week... so this query may be answered very quickly. i will just give it to you exactly how i seen it in my news...

so what happened here is the attacker sent too much and triggered AR, only to lose some of his staff to me and than the gov recalled due to the new calculation...... something just aint seem right about that...makes AR just a tad USELESS!!!

ok so please no more needless comments about my ratios, not the subject of the thread.
but to stop further comments i had been hit hard over night, so pionting out "u dont have enough of this" isnt addressing the issue....

Wow. I appologize for trying to be helpful? Fine, on topic: No it does not make AR useless. AR is a mechanizm for helping solo players who are facing overwhelming odds. Overwhelming in the eyes of the game code is 1.45 times your score at 0% ARmod. When you killed some of the staff the game ticker decided you were no longed faced with overwhelming forces, and withdrew. If you had been faced with overwhelming forces they would have stayed - hence, it is not useless. With a proper ratio, you would have been able to defend that mob easily, which is what timtadams and myself were trying to point out.

Fact of the matter is, AR recalcs each tick, if the mob drops below the trigger value due to kills done by the defender, AR recalls as it is according to the trigger value etc, no longer 'needed'.

than why when AR recalculates does the SAS not recall if there is no longer LET in the attacking force... i find it hard to believe that a bot with a score of 400mil would require SAS to defend against 20mill gards 20k geo - no matter what the AR...

i will say this occured as there were LET at attacking for 1 when i was attacking for 3. once the first BR is over with... why would AR not recalculate?

AR will only recalculate based on the score of the incoming, not the type of units present. E.g. if the SAS kill all the lethals, but the mob don't drop below the score required for AR to send you wont have it recalc.
