Global Politics... What was wrong?

A good while back, while I was filling in as temporary MO in my ally, I made a post on global politics, to signal that we were going on the offensive. I made sure it didn't break any of the rules (recruitment, IDs, asking people to help attacking etc).

I was therefore a bit miffed when the next morning the thread had been deleted.

I asked a helper and got the answer that because OTHERS had posted spam it had been deleted.
I replied that I found it a bit peculiar, and as I hadn't seen the replies I dont know what they where, but I thought the protocol was that the spammy post(s) was deleted and the original post left in peace? I got no answer on that, so I ask here instead.

The post was as follows:

Ceiling cat will warn Anonymous that Catnarok is nigh. It will be the meow of doom.

The Internet Hate Machine will begin to operate at maximum force. Hackors will ingest fresh steroids. Limecat will not be amused. Happy Snake will be happy. Serious cat will take it very serious indeed. The pool will be permanently closed. Raptor Jesus will go extinct. Pedobear will fall in a Trap. We will run out of Desu. Millhouse will still not be a meme.

Rules 1,2 and 34 will be enforced to no avail. Porn will be posted on every MySpace page. All I-Pods will be stolen. Barrels will be rolled. VTEC will kick in. Combos will be broken. Lulz will be corrupted. No dogs will be left to buy. Over 9000 will become an hero. Lazers will be charged to previously unknown levels.

It will be the Day of Reckoning, amirite?

Now sure, I could have posted:

You attacked us, now we will attack you.
We will steal back the acres you stole, infact attack you a lot, with different staff, and you won't be able to stop us.
Our defence has improved also.
This will be fun. ROFLCOPTER!!1!

But that just doesn't cut the cream in my humble opinion...

Pedobear is in league with Admiral Ackbar. There will be no falling into a trap.

That's the beauty of catnarock, once Longcat and Tacgnol join battle the world as we know it will change, and possibly be destroyed.

Im very sad to hear that I missed your creative post on Global Pols Enrico. Amidst the whining and biitching that permeates every thread it would have been refreshing to hear something a bit different. And in all fairness it makes a lot more sense than a lot of the crap various officers have been posting recently. Your post may been gone from G Pols but may it live on in our memories, a constant reminder that we are playing a game!
