• Those wishing to contribute to the game by making suggestions (both small and large) should read the following before doing so.

Bushtarion largely runs completely automatically, and has been designed intentionally to be as self-maintaining as possible, with mechanics and balance considered at a completed point.

Please do not spend large amounts of time coming up with complex suggestions in the hope that they will be read and possibly implemented in the future, unless you just enjoy the discussion, theory-craft, and such.

The most likely changes will be rules-changes, specific number-tweaks to units, techs, and similar sorts of changes, and only if a large community consensus is reached as "proof" that a change would, overall, be an improvement, and are more likely to be done in batches, occassionally, not as a regular thing.

easy idea?

Just a thought.
But seems that the email to the player base dragged a few of us back to the game. ( no idea how long for as my memory is crap and i forget to log on)

But maybe doing this a day or two before the start of the round each time may help jog memories and remind players to come and try again?

Worked for me!

yeah I think it might be a good idea, a "Hey there's a new round starting!" a day before every round :)

And as a few people have PM'ed me in IRC asking what this email was and why they didn't get one - basically it was a mailshot that went out to all accounts in the system that hadn't logged in since the start of January and earlier, so you active people didn't get it because it wasn't to you! :p There were a couple of different worded ones, depending how long ago the account had been logged in to, but both looked like and weren't dissimilar to:
