So.. What does everyone think of 5 min ticks?

Not sure if this thread has already been made, dont use forums much, but yea, what are your thoughts, im really enjoying the faster pace, seems it keeps me locked to the pc for longer aswell..

Just interested on what everyone thinks..

Love fast paced as does my alliance.

The one strong thing i have is organising fast stuff and 5 min ticks is ftw.

oh so do i twigs, but when your dealing with slow noobs which im sure your well aware, it gets difficult

keeps me glued to the PC and virtually unable to do anything else other than play bushy so in that respect it's a downside.

Great fun, very fast paced, quite intense and lots of quick decision making which is stressful but still good.

Far too fast paced to remain the standard for W1 but definitely a good idea for the mini round.

I like it, I agree (after thinking about it) it should not be every round.

However, I think it is an awesome thing to have say a special 5 minute tick round every 5 or 10 rounds (just my opinion)

Like everyone said tho, has made me even more active...especially later on in the evening...whenever i would normally go to bed im always like "well, its only 5 min ticks...i might as well stay for another attack"...next thing i know its 3am and im working in a few hours

Since the round started I haven't gone to bed before 4 am...

I like it a lot, I just don't know how much I am going to keep up with those fast ticks. I feel drained a lot sometimes.

Cyrus also has a point.

Perhaps we can get an ally tornament every 5 rounds, I dunno.

We also have to think about Azzer's income if there is to be such a tourney.

i really like them. i dont play serious enough for it to affect my life overly, just means that when i am online ican do a lot more and getting PA withing a week feels good for a noob like me 8)

I'm not sure. I only seem to refresh every 15-20 minutes at work, so while this was ok on a 10 minute tick system (missing the odd tick is not fatal), now my attacks go from eta 5 to eta 1 before I even realise it... On the other hand, things get done faster, the game is a bit more frantic, less calculations and more mistakes etc.. hmmz.

It's fantastic to have an attack finish so quickly, however when I'm writing my lab report it either absorbs a lot more of my time or ensures I miss a lot of valuable ticks

I have certainly disliked the fact that I can check bush (no incoming), then work for an hour and pop back on afterwards only to find I've lost land I could have prevented On the other hand, I'm sure my attackers are loving it xD

The worst thing is that over night enemies have practically twice as long to get in their attacks. The only way to adapt would be to sleep half as long twice a day and as Azzer's thread on sleeping patterns goes, I like mine regular

5 Minute ticks make the game a lot more fun and keeps me at my PC a lot more heh. I think it should be changed for the long term.

i am really enjoying it though and think it would be cool for azzer to do something like this every 3 round or so maybe? (between rounds)....

i have to say it is VERY entertaining to watch everyone playing 5minute ticks wise and how it's affecting their lives so much. Pretty much having half your life cut off, although i do like the way people are playing bushtarion due to this speed meaning you have less time to decide and everythings not all pristine leaving for mistakes which can be very fun. adds a new dimension to the game in a way. i think 5min ticks would be perfect for maybe times when its a well known holiday period? i.e easter, christmas?
